I think the Live Action Cowboy Bebop was meant to fail. Hear me out, Netflix has always wanted to produce and release a Live Action Anime but they've seen and know what happens to then in the last few years so they decided to do a test run Cowboy Bebop is a staple in anime culture because of cool and relatable it is which shouldn't be hard to adapt but it only had 26 episodes so they couldn't milk it as much. One Piece on the other hand is a global phenomenon and is still ongoing and they could market it in so many ways and that's why the did a test run with Cowboy Bebop to see where it can go wrong so they could make One Piece right.
