i haven't responded to some messages for so long that responding now would require an explanation and the explanation is more uncomfortable than the silence, so the silence has become permanent. it's not that i don't care about the people. it's that the gap became its own thing and i don't know how to cross it gracefully. some relationships just go quiet this way and i'm sorry for my part in it
