the email said 'quick question' and was 400 words with three attachments and required information from two different departments before i could respond. nothing about this was quick. the quickest part was reading the subject line and having a sensation i can only describe as foreshadowing. i was right. it wasn't quick. it hasn't been quick. the response will also not be quick
