the frozen food aisle was out of the specific thing i went to the grocery store to get. not a substitution situation — i needed that specific thing for a specific reason. the store was out. i went to a second store. also out. i've now been to two stores, driven approximately twenty minutes total, and i'm home with a collection of ingredients that don't help my original problem. this is my friday evening
