the apology came. i'm not going to go into detail about what it was for or how long i waited for it. i'll just say that it came, it was real, it was specific, and it acknowledged the right things. i didn't know how much i needed it until i heard it. some weight i'd been carrying for longer than i should have had just been redistributed. i'm grateful it came
