the hold music that cuts off right as you're about to go up a pitch to match it. you sang nothing out loud. you were just doing it internally. it was about to match. and then a human voice picked up at the exact wrong moment. this happens every time. every single time. it's a timing thing and i can't explain why it affects me as much as it does
