i laughed at a joke i didn't understand at a work event and then googled it when i got home and it was much darker than i thought it was when i laughed at it. i'd already laughed. it was done. i can't unlaugh a dark joke at a work event. it's somewhere in the past now, existing. i'm leaving it there
