i've been saying i'm 'almost done' with a project for three weeks. i'm not almost done. i'm about fifty percent done and the part that's left is the hard part, which is why i've been doing the easy parts repeatedly instead of starting the hard part. saying 'almost done' to people feels like protection against accountability. it's not working as well as i hoped
