the show was four seasons of genuinely excellent television and then the writers did something in the finale that i can't forgive and won't forgive. i've talked to people who loved the ending and i respect that we're different people with different relationships to this show. but for me personally it retroactively changed how i feel about the whole thing. that's how much the ending matters
