these award shows are freaking wild now. Instead of just handing out a best actor trophy, they make up some random “first ever” categories. Like best debut by a dog in a supporting role or something. It’s basically just a participation trophy at that point. the whole point of awards is to celebrate the best, right? If you’re not the best, just accepting a category so creators can act like everyone wins feels super weak. Just give the actual good actors and filmmakers the real respect they deserve instead of pretending the rest matter equally. i don't know, maybe I’m just a sport guy thinking of MVP awards but come on!
