just listened to a podcast where the host casually shifted from discussing current events to hawking vitamins like it was the most normal thing ever. Like, dude, where’s the transition? One minute you’re spitting facts about politics, and the next you wanna sell me some "super greens?" I was just getting into it, and now I feel totally screwball. Is this where influencers are at now? It's like podcasting is just a long commercial. Went from "this should be in the news" to "buy my shit" in 2.5 seconds. Can we just talk about life without trying to monetize every thought? Damn, this is exhausting
